Are your ornaments spheres or discs?
I sell both, but the listing description will explain if it is a “round ball” (sphere) or “flat disc” (more like a car tire shape). If you are still not certain, all of the disc-shaped ornaments include a listing photo of the ornament held from the side so you can see it is not a sphere. If you are still not certain, please message me before ordering so you are not disappointed.

How big are your ornaments?
The spheres are roughly 2.5 inches in diameter, and the discs are roughly 3.1 inches across and 1.5 inches deep. All ornaments also have a metal cap that adds between 0.5 and 0.75 inches to the height.

Will the glitter shed on my hands and make my house a mess?
The glitter is adhered to the inside of the ornaments and most of the excess is shaken out before shipping, so they should not shed on display or in storage. Occasionally some buyers have reported a sudden burst of glitter from the ornament when removing it from the shipping box. I am not sure what causes this as I do several things to remove excess glitter before shipping, but if it does happen, it should only happen once. If you find excess glitter coming out of your ornament, you can gently remove the cap, dump the excess into a trashcan, replace the cap, and you should not have any more issues.

Do you offer personalization?
Most of my designs offer personalization. Check the listing details and photos for examples of personalization on a specific listing if you have questions about the availability, font, or material for personalization. If you would like personalization on an ornament that does not mention it in the listing photos, please send a message prior to ordering to confirm whether or not it could be added. I will try to accomodate it in most instances, but would want to discuss details in advance.

Is there a character limit for personalization?
Technically the limit would depend on the specific font being used (which differs for each listing). Most listings can accomodate a small message if it can be broken up into 3 or 4 lines. If you are not certain about whether or not your personalization will fit, please send a message in advance of placing an order.

What if I like a design, but not the colors in the listing?
Change them! If you would like a listed design with different colors, please include a note specifying any changes you would like to make to the ornament or design color when placing your order. Please also be sure to use an email address that you check regularly in case I have any questions. If I send a message asking for clarification but receive no response, I will make a best-judgement decision and ship your order by the processing date in the listing. Etsy penalizes my shop for late shipments.

Do you have a list of ornament and vinyl colors I can pick from?
You can find my current list of ornament colors here. I do not currently have a list of vinyls, but most of the options are listed in the design options for the D&D-inspired ornaments here.

Do you take custom orders?
YES! This could be a slight alteration to a current listing, or a completely unique design. If you want something you don’t see in the shop, send me a message on Etsy and I would be glad to work with you and create a completely unique, one-of-a-kind item just for you!

What is the process for placing custom orders?
Start by sending me a message on Etsy explaining what you would like. I will ask clarifying questions about your design. For the fastest turnaround time, please use an email address for your Etsy account that you check regularly, or install the Etsy app and turn on notifications so you see when messages come through. Once I have an idea of what you are asking for and have assured you that I can take it on, I will send a private listing through Etsy messages so only you may order it. I will not begin work on the item until this listing is purchased, so it is very important that you are receiving my messages in a timely manner. Before making the actual item, I will likely send mock-up photos for you to approve to be sure you are happy with what you see. Once the design is finalized, I will send photos for final approval, and once approved, I will ship. If at any point along the way we cannot agree on a final design or you do not like what I make before shipping, you can cancel your order and you will be refunded. You do not have to pay for work on an item you do not end up keeping.

How long do custom orders take?
The lengthiest part of the custom order process is the discussion phase. I aim to turn around custom orders within 48 hours of receiving the first message, so long as all steps have been completed (listing made, order placed, mock-ups and final product approved).

How much do custom orders cost?
Custom orders are priced based on the time the final product takes and the materials used (just like every other listing in the shop). They are priced as if they would be a regular listing in the shop, so no additional cost for labor over messaging is included. As a ballpark, ornaments would probably be between $11-$19 (unless they are particularly complex), and dice rolling trays are the usual price (unless they are particularly complicated). You will be told the price before a listing is made to make sure you are comfortable proceeding.

My order never arrived (or tracking says “delivered” and I don’t have it). What do I do?
If the tracking information on your order states that it was delivered, check thoroughly for anywhere a package may have been left. Please consider checking porches, driveways, front doors, back doors, side doors, mailboxes, hallways, or anywhere else a carrier could access. Consider checking with neighbors if you are on decent terms with them. If your order was delivered to work or somewhere similar, be sure to check with your mail room, front desk, or equivalent. Once you have completely ruled out the package being in a hard-to-find place, send me a message.
I do not insure shipments, so my only course of action is to file a claim with USPS. This can be time consuming and often does not result in the package being found (it hasn’t yet for any claims I’ve had to file since starting business in 2015).
A replacement order may be sent on a case-by-case basis.

My ornament arrived broken! What do I do?
Oh no! I do my very best to package all ornaments as securely as possible. I’m so confident in my packaging that I let my toddler help load and unload the boxes at the post office. But since most of my shipping is done around the holidays when shipping carriers are under the most strain, things can get rough. Please message me and let me know, and include a picture of the damage. I will most likely send a replacement at no cost to you, unless something seems reeeeeal fishy.

The design on my ornament is peeling. What do I do?
The vinyl used for the designs can sometimes warp in drastic temperature changes, and this may cause peeling or bubbling. Try pressing the design back down with a credit card or something similar. If the design will not stay down, some dust from the box or packaging may have gotten underneath in transit. Please send me a message with a picture of the issue and we will work it out on a case-by-case basis.
